Pre and post meetings
Information has gone out to those who may be interested in planning pre or post conference meetings. If you think you should have received information and didn't, check with your line VP or let Support and Solutions know.
We can't wait to have you join us in Orlando for SC27!
Registration is live August 3 to October 9
See below for details about attendance, travel, housing, and other details.

Whether attendance is required or optional depends on your role. Here's what applies to you.
All InterVarsity staff working full-time are expected to attend Staff Conference 27. If you are unable to attend, coordinate directly with your supervisor. Written approval from your line VP is required to be excused.
All InterVarsity staff working part-time are enthusiastically welcome and encouraged to attend SC27 for a reduced fee of $1,500. See the cost breakdown below for details on what's covered.
Overseas Link Staff, Official Volunteers, Provisional Appointees, and Limited Term Employees are all encouraged but not required to attend SC27. See cost breakdown for fee details by role.
Non-staff spouses are invited to attend SC27 for a charge of $1,200, which covers program, housing, and catered meals. Transportation and non-catered meals are the responsibility of the attendee.
Do you have friends, alumni, or students who are seriously considering working with InterVarsity? The Mobilization Department is sponsoring a Prospective Staff program for SC27 for them to discern and experience InterVarsity together. Talk to your Regional Director to nominate a candidate! For any questions, contact nicole.chiu@intervarsity.org
This year, all travel expenses should be charged to your own staff account, and SC27 will later allocate a set amount based on your "Travel Region" (determined by where you live). Open the PDF to see the amount that will be allocated to you and feel free to book your travel at any time.

When you go to register, choose the housing option that works best for you.
For those who are booking their own room, reservation for housing is open on Friday, October 16. Check your email for information then!
From childcare to extended stays, here's what you need to plan your time at SC27.

At SC27, children aged five and under may utilize childcare services during all SC27 official programming. Parents with children aged six and over should plan on arranging their own childcare.
The deadline for cancelling is November 15, 2026. Full-time staff who have registered but are now unable to attend should coordinate directly with their supervisor AND email Support and Solutions to notify SC27 of need to cancel. For other attendee types, a full refund will be provided for registration that have been paid via credit card through November 15.
Staff who are interested in a little extra time in Orlando may stay at the Rosen Centre for the same room rate ($135 + tax per room per night) for up to three nights before and after the conference. A number will be provided to extend your stay after housing opens on October 16.
What you'll pay depends on your role. All fees cover SC27 program, shared housing, and onsite meals. Here's what to expect.
A fee of $600 is automatically charged on an annual basis to a staff or department budget and added to the staff conference pool. This fee covers the program costs, housing, and allocated travel funds. It is not refundable, even if full-time staff are excused from the conference.
Part-time staff who choose to attend will be charged a reduced fee of $1,500 to attend. This amount will be taken from the cost center associated with their Workday profile after the event and will cover the SC27 program, shared housing, onsite meals, and allocated travel funds.
Volunteers, provisional appointees, and part-time Link staff will also be charged $1,500 from the cost center associated with their profile or another identified account. Full-time Link staff are charged the full $1,800. This fee will cover program, shared housing, onsite meals, and allocated travel funds from a stateside homebase.
Non-staff spouses are invited to Staff Conference 27 as official participants for a charge of $1,200, which covers program, housing, and any catered meals. Transportation and non-catered meals will be the responsibility of the attendee.
We value your security and comfort during our time at SC27 and are committed to providing as safe and hospitable an experience for all our attendees as possible. For those who have additional housing accommodation requests, please let us know through registration or through the housing portal later in the summer. For any other accommodation requests, please contact us through Support and Solutions.
