When you think "Trinity," what is the first thing that comes to mind?
"Unknowable." "Mystery." "Theological but not very relevant."
Or maybe, "a word that isn't in the Bible" or "important but hard to understand" or "that's heresy, Patrick!" ☺
Our goal with this theme is not to start or settle any theological debates, nor to speculate just for the sake of knowledge. We seek to step into the Trinity's life because, as it says in our InterVarsity Statement of Faith...
We Believe In
The only true God, the almighty Creator of all things, existing eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — full of love and glory.
"Full of Love and Glory"
Full of–– dare we say?–– joy.
The joy of the Trinity is intimate, loving communion of the Father, Son, and Spirit. The joy of the Trinity is a life of worship as each part glorifies and honors the other and explodes with creativity and grace. And the joy of the Trinity is found in the mutual, unanimous mission as the Father sends the Son by the Spirit, the Father and Son send the Spirit, and finally, the Father, Son, and Spirit send the Church, so that all people can be drawn into the love, glory, and fullness of the Trinity.
For this Staff Conference, our prayer is that we’ll walk away from our time together, not only with new knowledge of the Trinity, but also with a deep experience of what we believe is true of God’s very being: joy.
The Trinity isn’t just a mystery or theological category, but is a living, breathing reality full of love and glory. Let’s, as it says in Luke 5, "put out to the deep waters" together as an InterVarsity community. See you in Orlando!

At SC27, we’ll gather and commune with the living God.
Each day is designed to help you encounter the Trinity — through deep study, intentional practice, and worship that shapes how we live and lead on campus.
Mornings
Each morning, we’ll do Bible study together and have chances to learn from our three theme expositors.
Afternoons
In the afternoon, there will be space for practicing life in the Trinity both communally and individually.
Evenings
In the evenings, we’ll engage with how the daily theme can be embodied in our organization and mission on campus.
Our SC27 team is so excited to be putting on this conference for you!
We are praying for you and ask that you also pray for us as we prepare the details, big and small, for our time together. We can't wait to see you in January!
